Fast clicking relay, no start... Please help!!!
1994 accord EX. Driving down the road and the car turned off. Couple minutes later and started back and ran for about ten minutes and shutdown, this time it wouldnt start back. Put ingtion switch in and ran for ten seconds and shutdown. Put new fuel pump relay in and nothing. Put old fuel pump relay back in and started and ran fine. Turned it off and put old ignition switch in and fired right up and ran perfect for a week then shutdown. Pulled relay off and crossed over pins 1,3,7 to turn the fuel pump on and get power to the injectors, but still wouldnt run. Tried looking for ECU ground on thermostat, but theirs no wires running to it or anywhere around that location. Checked all fuses and crossed over CEL connector and light stays on all the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are some basic tests that you should do. You need to verify if this is a spark or fuel problem.
When the car will not start, turn the key to the II position, but do not try to start the car. The check engine light should do a two second bulb check. While the check engine light is on, the fuel pump should also turn on for those two seconds. Listen carefully for the fuel pump to turn on. It is a faint buzzing/whirling sound that comes from the back seat, so listen carefully.
Do you have a timing light?

I do have spark. No timing light. Sometimes the pump primes for a few seconds and the CEL goes off and the car runs for a few seconds and turns off. Other times the key is turned on and only one click can be heard from the relay and the fuel pump doesnt prime. Also sometimes the relay clicks several times and the pump tries to turn on, but it eventually quits clicking. Finding the ground to the ECU is my next obstacle and i have no idea where its at.
