Default Fuel level sensor

Finally going to replace my fuel level sensor in my 95 ex 2.2L but when I got to the parts store he said it is available in 2 models. California emissions and non Ca. I have searched online and only one is available anywhere. Does anyone know if there are 2 models and if they are at all interchangeable? I think the Ca model is only avail through the dealer or something.
Thanks

Is your accord a California Emissions car or non-California?

I think that you can tell by the serial number on the engine block. The bold number below will be 21 for California or 22 for the rest of the US.

On the plate near where the engine meets the transmission (near the front motor mount) this will be stamped on there:

F22B1-21XXXXX

the sticker under the hood says that it complies with CA standards for 1994 but I am not sure if that means emissions

the engine number is F22B1-1497XX

I just did a vin search on estore.honda.com and they said it was a 49 state emissions car so I think the one online will work

Hold on, there should be 7 digits on the serial number, and they should start with either 21, 22, or 24.

You may have a CA emissions car (2149xxx)., and that fuel level sender has a different part number compared to the 49state cars. I am not sure what the difference is between them.
