General Maintenance for 2003 Accord
I got my used Accord 2003 4dr 4cyl about 3 months ago. It was Honda certified used vehicle and had 24150 miles on it.
Now it has about 28150 miles and I'm thinking of having general maintenance.
I know I gotta change the engine oil, but is there anything what I have to change or replace? Please give me some advices or tell me your advices for a rookie driver?

RE: General Maintenance for 2003 Accord
I agree except for two things:
changing oil @ 3-3.5K is a waste of perfectly good oil. Those intervals made sense twenty years ago but not today. Any regular oil will easily go 5K, synthetics up to twice that or more with a used oil analysis.
The spark plugs on that car are irridum, not platinum. They should be changed @ 100K

I agree with RTexas. Doing these maintenance items early is mentally satisfying, but quite a waste. The metallurgy, and chemical people got together to develop the anti freeze, and 100,000 is ballpark. You can check it every year with a PH meter. Honda Anti freeze is about 8.3 out of the container. When it starts dropping into the high 7's,change it.
