getting into gear on automatic

Cool Vacuum on gear shift lever ??

As I mentioned before, was (and still are0 having trouble getting out of park..
BUT it seems that if I 'gun' the engine twice it shifts just fine..
vacuum leak maybe in brake system of actuator /

Go to Honda, spend 8 buck on a brake lamp switch and be done with it.

Unhappy gear shifty

HUH, how does 'gunning the engine equate to brake switch ?
got a battery recall, so will take it in, and have em fix the problem too !

The shift lock is all electrical. It doesn't make sense that revving the engine fixes the problem unless you have a low voltage problem at idle.

Wondering if there is something up with the TPS readings?......yea, the '16 might be different but on some of the older ones, if the PCM "thinks" the gas pedal is down then it won't let you shift out of park. Just a thought
