I've got a 2004 6MT coupe. One of the o2 sensors needs replacing. The scanner say's "Bank 2 Sensor 1". The parts Lady said it was the main sensor in the front by the header. Her reason for saying that was only because it said "sensor 1". They had no idea what "bank 2" meant. Could anybody enlighten me on what "Bank 2" means or the location of "Bank 2 Sensor 1"???
Thanks!!!!
Thanks!!!!
6MT only comes on V-6, right? You dont say V-6 so you make us figure this out...
Look at the catalyst on the front of the engine. Sensor 1 is at thetop & sensor 2 at bottom.
Bank 1 & 2 refers to the same configuration on the OTHER catalyst on the back side of the engine. I dont have a V6 so I dont know which bank is which.
If we knew the actual error code number we might be able to help more.

Thats the part I dont know. I dont have a V-6 so I never bought the V-6 supplement for the Helm repair manual.
Process of elimination...
P0130, P0131, P0132, P0133 are for the PRIMARY sensor on a4-cyl engine, which I THINK uses the Bank 1 codes.
