Default grinding going into reverse

I have a 93 Accord that makes a loud grinding noise going from park to reverse. This noise can still be heard (at a much lower level) in neutral. The noise goes away if I shift into D4 and then to neutral. My car is an automatic and there is no problems with the forward gears.

The noise only happens when I try to shift into reverse.

Thanks in advance.

Not much you can do to fix that problem; change out the fluid use Honda Z-1 ATF.
You are having low pressure internally of the transmission.
