Default H22 in 93 accord ECU help

When the car is on and running and I wiggle the rats nest under passenger seat it wil start to shutdown (gradually reduce rpm as if im turning it off with the key. It doesnt shut off but returns to normal. This doesnt happen when im driving as no vibration will get it to do that. The car also has a functioning turbo timer hooked up. Im going to go over the wiring upder there redo the splicing and what not.

Also can I salvage the auto tranny ecu pins for my vtec wirong purposes?

Video of car during startup and 4500 redline as well as the check engine light functioning by mid afternoon

Default H22 in 93 accord ECU help

Video of startup and bogging Apexi controller

Will this solve my problem or at least put me in a better place?

Or do I need the 600 dollar Chase Bays harness

You should be able to use the TCU pins on the ECU.

I keep mentioning that your car is an extremely modified setup. What is your goal with this accord? Just get it running with the current setup, or do the modifications planned by the previous owner?

Default H22 in 93 accord ECU help

At this point I just want VTEC to function properly . If that means getting an OEM harness and unmodified ECU I will do it.

However the turbo dreams kinda got me in a bind.

Am I correct in assuming that turboing this h22 will require more than a turbo manifold, turbo, low comp pistons, Intercooler, custom exhaust fab labor, I have the money just not considering dropping those stacks for a car thats not currently wired properly. It would also be a conservative turbo setup. No godzilla for me

For Vtec, just make sure you get the proper pins on the ECU wired to the correct pins for vtec. Hopefully you have a wiring diagram for the acura ecu and the wires to vtec.

I remember reading that the H22 wasnt' the best engine to turbo-charge. You'll have to search the web to find out what is possible on the H22 engine and how to do it.

Thanks So much for your Help PAhonda. Im going to redo the ecu pin with one from the tranny ecu and take her for a spin tonight. Thanks, I considered some custom wire harness retailers and one will even dial in a harness plug and play for the CB7 accord and h22. Will report the results if good and if not I will double triple check everything. before posting about this again. in the mean time I will try to find other ways to contribute to this fourm!

Did a second or third gear pull and it made it to 5600. Im not sure but I think I just popped my first vtec lol. The outlook when I got it was terrible but the body is damn great shape check her out. So glad I can cross that off the list. Gonna tackle a bunch of stuff.

Yes the h22 has iab's along with a knock sensor. I would do it so it's stock then you can mess with other stuff afterwards.

The oem wagon harness your car has already has iab's since it had the f22a6 engine. It won't have a knock sensor. You can add those with the kit suppied by axidwords.

It really would be best to just get it back to stock and then you can tinker with what whatever mods or chipped ecus as you want. You would need to source a p13 ecu.
