Default Having trouble putting the dash back on 5TH GEN

I started taking the whole dash off about a month ago to paint it. I didn't finish that night, but my friend went out and finished it for me. That was not a good idea. Now, a month later, he's pissed at me and wont help me put it back on, and I didn't see how he took it off. So I walk out to my car and see a WHOLE mess of parts and bolts, nuts, and screws. And I'm just like...

Can anyone asist with these? It's stressing me out because I can't drive my car until I get this put back together and I sat out there for an hour staring with no luck. I'll answer any questions you need me to and/or take pics if needed. I just really need some help with this one.

Suggest downloading the 94-97 Manual from Online Manuals links in DIY section. This should provide enough guidance to reassemble.

good luck

I tried downloading one of the 94 Accord manuals. It was taking forever. Finally, 20 minutes later, it's about 3/4 done and... "Unable to proceed downloading".

****

I'll try another. I really hope it's in the manual when I get it downloaded. I'm going to need pics to help with some of the parts. I could get the dash on if it wasn't for 3 brackets; I can't figure out where they go.

Okay, it finally worked. One thing though:

The idiot didn't plug in the red short protectors on the airbags. And he disconnected the main harness. I'm not sure how safe I should feel at this point. How should I go about reinstalling the passenger airbag and plugging the harnesses back in without knocking my head off?

Keep the battery disconnected & discharge any static electricity by touching well-grounded metal of the car's structure. Plug everything in before connecting the battery.
