Default Help with 98 accord idling at 2000

My accord is idling at 2k rpm. When i turn it on it goes from 1700 to 2 after a few minutes. I recently changed the TPS because the light came on for it.

I also just put a new starter in yesterday because it wouldnt turn on, just do a click''' noise. That solved that problem.

Yesterday had been the first day after a few weeks of actually driving the car around and I noticed that after the car being on for a minute the idle goes up and down, about to die and then back to 1700.

As of right now the only "check engine light" I have on right now is code either #1. I can not tell if it is a long flash or quick flash. If it is code #1 (Primary heated O2 sensor) I checked the clips to see if they are unplugged and they werent.
There are a few vac hoses that were unplugged so i just decided to 'T' them with others such as ones goes to the fuel filter i believe and one going to a part that the Cruise control cable connects to.

Would air escaping from BETWEEN the exhaust manifold to the downpipe be a cause?
Long story short, I need help lowering my IDLE. Sorry if I posted unrelated things, im just trying to figure this thing out.

Since there were vacuum hoses undone, I would check the routing and vacuum hoses first. It would be worthwhile to get a 98 US accord shop manual. I got one from automanualsource on Ebay for $21.99 and it is well worth the investment.

Probably have a diagram of the vacuum-hoses on the underside of the hood. (US-EPA requirement) Don't just tee them, it might not be the correct place.

Vacuum leak is a strong suspect for a high idle like that. Then look in the DIY section for a post I made about setting the BASE idle.

I don't have a stock hood so I cant check the vacuum diagram.

Since I posted this, everytime zI turn the car on from a cold start the idle fluctuates and i take offf and after 30 seconds of it doing so it will go away. My o2 sensor reads low/high input and i smell oil burning at times.

I had some uneven idling so I used Seafoamed the car and idling problem was cured on my 99 accord 4dr 2.3 cyl.

I ended up cleaning the throttle body intake manifold with throttle body cleaner and it fixed the high idle problem. Remember to reset your ecu after doing this.
