Hi, i have a 99 accord v6 cp with181k and i was wondering if i have one or two converters because i had one (i guess)put on but my cel is on and giving me the same freaking code so i was wondering if it was two or did someone do there job wrong?

I believe you only have one.... however, did they clear the codes after installing it? Are you certain it was the cat causing the problems and not the sensor itself? do you by chance have/know what code it was giving you?

I believe they did because once i got into the car after the repair the cel was off. could it be the oxygen sensor? (i haven't had those checked) i do have to of those right? i was given the p420 code.

PO420 could be the catalytic converter is defective and also caused by your enginemisfiring, not running good or a Large Vacume leak in the system and also Possibally engine oil leakage into the exhaust valve guide seats and passed the piston rings..someone else in the know ..concure with this..?
