Honda accord 1990 overheating
Hello to you all, my accord 90 is overheating after driving for 20mins previously but now is getting even worst. i am suspecting the radiator is blocked with dirt and particles somewhere within the circulation. i discover that whenever i filled the reserve tank with coolant to half mark, coolant from the radiator tends to return back to the reserve tank making it to overflow. i also discover that the radiator is leaking from the top little after driving for some time. i will be flushing the radiator this thursday. could a bad gasket cause the overheating? secondly, the engine is shorting engine oil every two weeks of using the car. what are the probable cause to it? please i will need your response to enable me decide on what to do. this forum have been very helpful to me. THANKS TO YOU- DR. RIDLEY ORHE
actually the temp gauge get hot I will check the head gasket
When you say it is leaking from the top are you talking about the radiator, the reservoir or someplace on the engine. If it is leaking at the top of the reservoir then it is likely a head gasket. If it is leak at the top of the radiator where they are known to fail then the radiator is at the very least bad, if it is leaking at the top of the engine then it can be many things.
