Honda accord 1999 powersteering pump noise
Hello
I have no obvious leak however power steering pump makes noise 15 seconds after starting the car. If I turn left or right it gets worst. Sounds like a grinding noise definitely coming from pump. Not sure if its an Air leak or bearing...
...the level of PS fluid is kind of low but not that much. Also with the engine on the fluid in the reservoir is spinning pretty fast ..weird...2 bad I cant upload my video to this site (((
Before buying a new pump I want to make sure that it is the problem.
Thank you

I'd recommend topping off the reservoir to full. There are some o-rings that are easily replaced on the power steering pump. They can leak air into the system and cause strange sounds. There are some youtube videos on how to do this. It is a cheap fix and may resolve your problem.
Keep an eye on the fluid level if you top off as fluid shouldn't disappear. If it starts lowering, you'll have to do a search for the leak.
