honda accord starting problem
my accord is giving trouble in starting. Earlier it was just sometimes but now its pretty frequent. When i key in and try to ignite the engine to start, it makes very low "tic" noise and then i have to release shift lock and then wait for few seconds before trying again. My battery seems to be perfect as I got it checked recently.
can anyone suggest what could be the problem?

IF the battery is good. Check the cables, both ends of both cables, to be sure they are clean and tight.
From there also check the small wire at the starter to be sure it is clean and tight.
If you have a volt meter, then check to voltage at the starter while trying to start it.
Now the "shift lock" thing could be related. The test with the volt meter on the small wire above will help to see if the selector is out of line.
If you get voltage to the starter, then I'd have the starter tested.
