I have no idea what this problem is I have a 94 Honda Accord LX, and i get a small pull or a little jump every time I go into first gear. My car is automatic 5 speed I have no idea if its the motor or the transmission. I was looking for some help to get it fix at the lowest price posible. I just need to pin point what the problem is. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

My '97 AT does that too if I shift into 1st from N while engine is idling.

I consider that normal and healthy, but maybe I don't understand...

 

i heard our 97s are suppose to be known of it's rough gear shifting/changing. no clue about the 94s. but i guess since they're from the same gen it should be the same?

 

I would inspect the motor mounts to see if there is engine movement.

 

I think I will check the motor mounts. My 94 is an automatic not a manual shift. Thanks keep the ideas comming please. I will check the motor mounts in the morning. Thanks guys
