Idle up and down!!
Hello, New to forums, but here it go's!!
I own a 1996 Honda Accord EX with the 2.2Lt. B1 Engine. I have already replaced the 2 oxygen sensors and the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), New Belts, New Thermastat, 2 Front Axles and Hoses to radiator. Oh and both belts. Now no codes on the reader! Yay!! but now I still cant get rid of the idle problem. Was doing it without touching the gas pedal and I searched online and reviewed that it could be a vacuum leak or the throttle screw (upper) So I did find a loose vacuum hose and tightened it, still same problem. I found the upper throttle screw on the intake and adjusted it about 1.5 turns to the right and It stopped!! then after taking off it started again while pushing the gas. also tried unplugging the MAP sensor and perfect idle and driving condition, plug it back in and fine until you reset the codes. So here I am with a high idle and no rev and drop until you touch the gas and after you touch the gas it then starts the rev up and down.
