Is the "dash" telling you that a brake lamp is out?

Do you have a volt meter to check continuity of a ground wire and voltage of another......what is the number of the bulb you installed.

Yez the dash light is sayin brake lamp or what ever...
I have replaced the bulb many times i have switched it withe the bulb left side but for some reason the right side still wont work
I have also change out the harness for it as well n it worked for it a few seconds and it now doesn't work again
N so we r cler this is only the right side brake light we r talkin about all the others work just fine

So is the parking light working and not the brake light or the light is not working at all? I had a similar problem but all I did was hit the light gently with my hand it and started working again .

I'm thinking something in/with the failure sensor on the drivers/left side is not right. Power for the pass rear bulb comes from this sensor that is on the drivers/left side of the car.

The GRN wire from the drivers/left rear failure sensor sends power to the righ/pass side light....so the dash tells you the brake light is out.....is it getting voltage?

With your test light, see if the green wire to the pass side has voltage when the brake pedal is pressed.

EDIT: For some reason I think it is a GRN/WHT wire even though the pic says GRN....but I'm getting old.
