Jumpstart alarm goes off on 2008 honda accord v6 manual.
Hello, I have been having issues with my battery. I have jump started it in the past,no problem. I went to Jumpstart today and a very loud alarm started going off, with a blue flashing light on leftside drivers dash just below steering wheel. The alarm is a mix of sirens, sounds like every emergency service siren going at same time. I have never heard this before. Only thing installed was a gps when I financed the car. Tried disconnecting battery, using key to unlock/ lock while alarm is on. Nothing. Only way to stop it is to disconnect battery. Which i need to charge up,but can't with alarm going. I hope I don't sound to confusing. I have no idea and not alot of money. Please any ideas.

Are you trying to jump start off another car, or do you have a battery charger? Do you have a volt meter?
You have two items to figure out. First is why the battery is requiring a jumpstart. Second is your description of the security system doesn't sound like an OEM security system.
For the battery, you should have a sticker on the battery that has two digits like 03/19. That means the battery was made in March 2019. Let us know how old the battery is. Also let us know the brand.
For the security system, are you the original owner of the car, or did you buy used? Look under the driver's side dash. You may have to remove a plastic cover panel to inspect. Definitely follow any wiring from that blinking blue light. An aftermarket security system will be pretty obvious, because the wiring will likely not be organized and look out of place vs the factory wiring. It won't be in the plastic wire loom and you may see zip-ties holding wires to the original harness. You'll want to follow any stray wiring to a control box then post any information on the control unit on here to figure out what kind of unit is installed.
