Hey guys, need some help.

The keyless entry only works on the passenger side when drivers side is unlocked. Other than that, it does not unlock doors once both are locked.

I was researching online and some people said it could be the actuator but if that was the case, would power lock work at all? because it does unlock using the button on the door. It just doesnt work using the remote.

Any suggestions?

If the buttons in the car work, then the actuator sounds like it is working.

Do you have another remote to try just to rule out the one that you normally use?

 

I made a mistake, the unlock button only unlocks passenger side, so it has to be the actuator. Thanks for your reply.

 

When the locksmith programmed it a year back he used the above steps and worked for one day he didnt work on the receiver.

Can you please tell me where is the receiver to check on it?

I removed the battery till tomorrow to try refreshing the capacitors as I read smwhere..

I am sure of the frequency of the remote I have 433 mhz is for accird 2004 in middle east.
