Power lock/Keyless entry problem

I've got a problem with the power locks on my '98 Accord. If you use the switch on the driver's door, it will lock and unlock the rear doors, but neither the driver's dooror front passenger door. Yesterday, there was also a high-pitched whirring sound coming from the driver's door when you use the switch. Today, that noise is gone, but there is now a click coming from the front passenger door when you use the power lock switch. If you depress the lock pin in the driver's door, it locks the driver's door as well as the rear doors (but not the front passenger) and no noise is heard. The keyless entry doesn't seem to be working and I am wondering if that is related to the driver's door lock/power locks mechanism not working. This problem started several months ago with the driver's door not locking when you used the switch (other three worked fine) and keyless entry not working. But then it would work fine, it was very sporadic. Any ideas?

Sounds like the power actuator inside the door that moves the switch up and down might be bad. I'm not sure ona Honda as my daughter just purchased a 98 EX Accord, but on her 93 Mustang this was a pretty common problem.
