I have an acquaintance that will be working on my 1998 Honda Odyssey and I have the following questions:

I will be replacing the original audio cassette player receiver with non Honda brand since the current one does not turn on. My acquaintance thinks that I only need to replace the player. I would like to replace it with a CD player receiver.

Is there a certain brand I should go for? Furthermore, what other parts do I need and how much labor time is needed to complete the job?
