Default Lost all keys / fob 1998 Accord

I think I lost all keys and the fob for my 1998 Accord. I'm not familiar with technology ECU, how the keys work, etc. I just want a cheap way to get a key that can open everything (don't really need a valet key), and to get another keyless fob. An extra backup key that can open everything would be nice also. What do I need to do? I think I'm locked out of my car also.

You may be SOL on the "cheap way" to get it done. Were I in your shoes I'd call a local locksmith and ask if he/she can do it. If not, you'll probably need to spend some cash and have the car brought to a local Honda dealer and pay they a pretty good amount to have new keys made and programmed.

The above said, it is pretty easy and inexpensive if you can at least find one key.

I found a key that only can be used for ignition and can drive the car. I also found a different key that can open the passenger door (my driver door lock is broken a bit) as well as open the trunk. So I'm ok for now. So is there a cheap way to get a new keyless entry fob and a backup copy of the ignition key? That way I can use the new key fob to get in (keep the old door/trunk opener key as a backup), and use the old ignition key (and keep a new backup ignition key elsewhere).

I don't remember the procedure, but I bought a new fob from one of the many online sources for my Gen 6 Accord years ago and was able to program it via a certain sequence of key movements and button pushes. The instructions came with the fob.
