Default Lower starter bolt stripped

I pulled the motor and transmission out of my 2006 Accord. While pulling the starter off the motor the lower starter bolt galled.
I finally did get the bolt out but as everyone knows, the threads in the transmission case are ruined. Since the transmission is out of the car I have full access to the bolt hole.
My question is what is best repair.
I have used Heli-coils before but I don’t think the would handle the stress/trorque that is applied to the bolt. I think a Keylock insert would be the best repair. Since there is a limited amount of metal surrounding this particular bolt hole I feel that I should use a thin walled insert instead of the heavy duty.
Am I correct in thinking that this would be the best repair?

Does anyone know where I can purchase these at the best price. ( crap, the inserts and installation tool are expensive)

That’s for the help.

Heli-coil or similar will be lower cost and should be fine. These bolts don't see heavy tensile loads but rather lateral shear load on bolt due to starter torque. Torque to spec value, 47 ft-lbs.

Suggest reviewing videos on youtube for particular brand of coil insert.

good luck

When reassembling should I use anti seize as a precaution?

Thx

Anti-seize won't hurt but best advice is to start bolt by hand to avoid x-threading.

good luck
