Default Master Switch Installation - Alarm Does Not Work Anymore - Help!

I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX SE, Coupe.

I put in a new master switch. Now the Alarm does not work from my remote. None of the functions work. What can be wrong?

You might have to reset the remote(s). There should be something about in the owners manual.

Unfortunately, I do not have the owner's manual.

Can someone help?

I think that you can register at Honda's Owner Link. You'll need your VIN. You should be able to download the owner's manual from there.

The lights on the remote do not come on anymore. Maybe its broken? I do have to glue the metal to the remote for the car to start.

I am not sure what you mean by gluing the metal to the remote?

If the lights on the remote do not work you may have to replace the battery in the remote.

Is the remote part of the key?

The key itself, the silver part came off from the Black remote. I had to glue it back on. The lights don't work.

Remote is part of the key.
