Default Muffler problem !

1994 Honda Accord EX !
Car makes some noise so looked under the car and found a hole on intermediate pipe. The hole is approx. of the size of a quarter (25 cents). Also, as mentioned before, muffler is rusted and peeling off... so I guess, I need to replace the whole assembly. Any suggestions ? Also, how much will this thing cost to fix ?
Thanks

Default RE: Muffler problem !

Sometimes a hole in the middle of the pipe can be patched with a beer can wrapped around with some muffler cement for a temporary fix. But like you said, your muffler is going too so don't count on REALLY fixing it this way.

Go on someplace like hondaautomotiveparts.com & look up your car, show the exhaust drawing. That stuff all should bolt together if you're inclined to DIY.
