Default My tranny...

I have a 2001 Accord and when i let off the brake and push the gas it takes about 500 rpms till first gear catches. Does anyone have the same problem or know what is causing it? Thanks

YEAH THEY SAID MY FLUID WERE GOOD... THANKS FOR THE REPLY BUT I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE MECHANIC TODAY AND HE SAID I NEED TO REBUILD MY TRANNY. HE SAID THERES A BUNCH OF METAL SHAVINGS IN THERE. THATS FOR LATER HOPE IT LAST UNTIL THERE

no need to say more than 2001 accord..... how many miles on it? honda has a 7 year 100K powertrain warranty for those cars (must not have a salvage title)

I BOUGHT IT USED NO WARRANTY. SUCKS TO BE ME, GUESS I JUST HAVE TO SHELL OUT TO REPAIR BUT I THINK THE GUYS JERKING ME AROUND. SO IM GOING TO TAKE TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP FIRST.

as long as the car has under 100K miles on it and does NOT have a salvage title, the trans is covered under warranty.....
