Number 12 is the bleeder screw, there's only one of them. You can probably use the old one, but it should be cheap anyway.

There's a couple small hose nipples on that part. If the small hoses are old, you may have to cut them off & buy new.

Otherwise it's just bolted to the engine. On my '98 it's not real easy to get to, so you may want to remove stuff that's in your way. Intake duct, throttle body, heater hoses, ???

I've had another thought...
Just in case you disturb the seal at the OTHER end of the pipe, you may want to have 2 copies ofseal #26. With age and heat, that other seal is probably hardened and a tiny bit of movement might cause it to start leaking.

Has anyone ever done this? I haven't. I don't know whether you'll need to unbolt that pipe from the engine & move it when you remove the thermostat case.

 

That pipe doesn't need to be unbolted. It is sealed by the oring that sits in a groove. You just need to twist #8 back and forth a bit to get the housing off of there.
