need help with my 2000 honda accord

Was there ever a fix for this problem. I have tried a lot of stuff too. I've never had this problem with any other honda I've ever had. I did a full tune up and other crap with no luck.

First thing you need to do is get the codes, they will be stored in the PCM. Many parts stores will do this for free, you need to get the actual code from them (P and four digits) and not their description of the issue.

My guess would be the electrical portion of the ignition switch is causing the issue. An easy way to test this is to start the car and let idle. then slightly tap the key backwards quickly but don't turn the engine off. if the vehicle stalls then that would indicate a worn out ignition switch ( electrical portion.) it is very common to your model accord.

Sounds unusual but other owners here have had the same symtoms and it turned out to be the alternator. It does make some sense when you add the load of the AC and it acts up. Start with some fuel psi checks also. HTH
