Hello, I just bought a new to me 2004 Honda Accord LX Coupe. I have a few questions about it. Did it come from the factory with a key fob? If so what is the part number of the key fob that I need to get? I just have a generic honda key with the chip in it. Thanks in advance.

Where are you?
In the USA it should have come with 2 keys having remote-lock buttons right on the keys. Also a valet key that doesn't work in trunk.

I have no idea what Honda does in other countries...

I am in NW Arkansas. The key says Honda but it looks like it glows in the dark. Has a green tint to it. This is the only key I have. I guess I need to buy the key with the fob on it and get it programmed.

Check the key you have with the trunk and the trunk lock to ensure that it is not a valet key. Then locate the correct key chip needed and I would look on ebay for the key. I did that found the right key and then call me a sexist but had my daughter, good looking, take in the key to have it cloned at Honda service counter. They quoted me $10 to program the chip from the old key but my daughter got it done for no cost at all. Go figure.
