Default No heat

Hey y'all. weirdest thing happened yesterday morning. about 15 min. into my commute, which by this time the car is warmed up to operating temperature, I notice that I have no heat. It dropped down to the 50's here in south florida (I know I shouldn't complain) so I needed a little heat. Here were my settings: defrost/foot button on, fan at level 1 or 2, thermostat at 3/4 (halfway into the "red" or heat zone). the air coming out was ice cold even at full red. checked all the fuses and they're good. checked again this morning: let the car warm up, tried defrost, AC, everything, both cold and hot and everything in between and now it works. will get on expressway later to try it again.

I find it hard to believe that the cooler temps yesterday morning would affect this in anyway. I did notice that while driving my temp gauge was a little less than half (more to the cold side) than normal which is exactly halfway.

Have you checked if the thermostat is sticking? Although if it was that hot I wouldn't think that would be the problem.

start car up let it wqrm up, hold the lower radiator hose and make sure it is hot . if it feels cool or just lukewarm replace the t-stat,,,,,,,,,if hose is hot, chk the heater valve cable adjustment make sure that the inside heater **** is not broken first of all and that when all the way on hot it opens the heater valve fully
