no horn, no cruise control and SRS light on - 97 accord

i have a 97 accord LX and the SRS light is on the dash, the horn doesnt work and the cruise control doesnt work. I have checked the fuses for the horn and cruise and all is well. could it be the cable reel or what ever its called behind the steering wheel that may be bad ?

Yes it could, that's one thing in common between the horn, cruise, & SRS.

anyone know where to get one or steps to take the steering wheel and airbag off, http://www.dhost.info/accordinfo/ use to have a ton if info but it doesnt work any more

go to the DIY section top of the page 94-97 accord lots of info,, open the link, click on menu, click on srs system and voila '.. follow instructions.. make sure to disconnect the battery first , so have the radio code if you got anti-theft radio

make sure to disconect the battery like half an hour b4 you start rippin stuff appart. this is done to insure that the airbag does not go off in your face or any other time it would be bad...
