Funny that you should make that recommendation - that is exactly what I am trying to do! I spent the weekend doing quite a lot of research. It turns out that the machine is not something that many shops have; however, I just want to move on with this. If the shop can't give me an appointment, I am contacting someone else who came highly recommended.

RE: Noisy ride
Don't know if you fixed your wind noise problem, but I had a similar sound coming from the passenger front side of my 99 ex. I took the whole passenger door apart on the interior, stuffed it with all kinds of materials, but none worked. I had thought it was the side view mirror also, but it wasn't. I finally noticed that the black rubber strip that the window slides into when closed was coming unglued at the V point close to the side view mirror. I took some super glue and resealed it and the noise is gone.

RE: Noisy ride
I guess you could say that I finally solved my wind noise. The new shop that I found took my car apart on Monday and found quite mess. The insurance adjusters came to look at the car today and took many pictures. The car was totaled - 5 months and one day after the accident. I would like to thank everyone for all their help and encouragement. I'll be shopping for a new car this weekend!
