i have dc sports headers installed. .a couple of months after i got the headers on my cat converter went out (cracked inside) and i put in a high flow cat in with brand new oxygen sensor. . recently my "CEL" has been coming on and off. .it had been a while since it went on so i decided to check out the code and p1164 was what it gave me. .the sensor is in the header

chk the connection and the wiring if all is ok you might have to replace the sensor....did you install the oem sensor? or the one where you got to cut and splice the wires to the original wires + connector
clear the code and see if same code comes up again first ..

connection and wiring is fine. .oem sensor was installed (the one that goes in the cat converter). .this is the first time this particular code has come up so im assuming that it would be the o2 sensor since it has not been replaced to my knowledge. .bummer
