Oil cooler 93 accord

Can I remove the oil cooler (the item that I screw my oil filter into) and clamp the rubber lines off of it? I'm being told that a new oil cooler is $377.89 and not all engines had them.

Not all f22a's had oil coolers...what's wrong with yours? I don't THINK it would be a big thing if you took it off..always try pick and pulls
