Oil leaking from Vtec Solenoid
The one that is leaking is more important to fix.
When you decide to change out the coolant, you could change the one up against the head, because you should remove the thermostat housing to unbolt the whole unit.

"Two of the three bolts that hold the whole unit to the cylinder head are easy to access with a socket to loosen. The third bolt is not. You will have to drain the coolant and remove the thermostat housing to access the third one with a socket. Do not try a boxed wrench, because you will strip the bolt head. Guess how I know about that?"
Hey PAhonda,
Can you please explain what you mean by "thermostat housing?" In other words, what part of the thermostat area should I remove exactly? Is it the entire assembly that holds the thermostat? Or do I break apart the housing and actually remove the thermostat from inside? And once I do, do I need to install new seals on the thermostat housing? I can do the solenoid gasket no problem. I just am a little shady on exactly what part of the thermostat/thermostat housing I'm supposed to remove. Thanks.

Instead of removing the thermostat housing, you can use a 4 inch 10mm ratchet to get to the hidden bolt on the VTEC solenoid. Takes a bit of hand bending, but it works fine. Did for me. Job all done!!
