oil pan gasket

Default oil pan gasket

are there gaskets for my model ? or can I use Hondabond ? , saw a Utube video, guy used red Permatex. 2005 accord v6 coupe ex 6speed.

Looks like Hondabond is listed in the shop manual. Did a quick search on the parts stores and it looks like Felpro makes an oil pan gasket for your car. I think either will work in your situation. I've read that Permatex Gray is their equivalent of Hondabond.

I'd say to make sure the oil pan surface is flat where it meets the engine block to ensure a tight seal with either a gasket or liquid gasket.

thanks, I may swap out the oil filter assembly gasket and figure 8, there seems to be oil leak in that area too.
