I got my gauge and all my wires everything ready to put in but idk what to do with the idiot light when I'm done I don't want my light being on all the time it will bug me like crazy. Can I ground it out somewhere? Or just plug a T into the block and run it from there or what? I'm nervous messing with oil sensors . Any help or easier way to plug it in. I'm useing a mechanical gauge idk if I should use a electrical instead or what. I have a 95 accord ex 2.2 vtec

 

If you have "tapped" into the port and hooked up a gauge....just tape the end of the wire from the OE gauge and you will be fine.......the light is set by the switch grounding.

Just me but I'd run both....again just me.....a tee fitting so I can run both the mech and the elec.
