Passenger side radiator fan not working.
I have a 2000 Honda Accord. The passenger side radiator fan isn't coming on. Drivers side comes on when I start the car. Car is overheating in stop and go traffic....What could this be and is it an easy fix? thanks.

Most likely either bad fan motor or fan relay. Check for 12v to the fan connector w/ other fan running. If 12V missing, radiator fan relay (underhood fuse box on earlier models) is likely fault.

Hi. Thanks for your reply! I'm actually 250 miles from home. On vacation. Not sure how to check that. ( the 12 volt) ? I will take a look at fuses. Is the passenger side fan the main cooling fan? The drivers side is the AC cooling fan? Thanks so much.

Both fans turn on to cool the radiator and both turn on when the a/c is turned on. The a/c fan is in front of the a/c compressor, which is on the driver's side on your car.
The relay for the passenger fan (radiator fan) is in the engine bay fuse box. Swap the radiator relay with an identical one and see if the fan turns on when the engine is running and you have the a/c turned on.
Testing for voltage will require a volt meter and unplugging the electrical connector for the radiator fan.
