Default PLEASE HELP

My check engine light came on and this is what's happening: when I'm on the road and hit the gas, the car would only rev up to around 3,000 rpms and it cuts off...it is killing me now...
the codes that came up are:

P1361

P0715

P0740

any help??
it is an automatic transmission...
tnx

Default RE: PLEASE HELP

What year, trim, and engine do you have?

P1361 means that the TDC sensor1 circuit has an intermittent inturruption. This means that the TDC sensor1 is not sending a signal to the PCM sometimes. This could mean that the sensor is bad or thre is a problem with the wiring (disconnected sensor or a wire that is broken).

P0715 is Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction, dunno what that means i can look it up when you post the info on your car.

P0740 is Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfuction, same deal as the previous one.

Default RE: PLEASE HELP

the 1361 code might be the most important one. if the computer doesnt know what the engine is doing.....then it has no idea what to tell the transmission. either way it needs to be taken into a good dealership with a service advisor and tech that is referred to you. your car needs to be diagnosed effectively.
