Please Help!!!!
Hello all,
Today I experienced my push button expedition start switch taking three times before it started the vehicle. I recently just purchased this 2015 Honda accord coupe and only have 5000 miles on it and wondering if I should be worried.
I immediately took it to my local mechanic who tested the car battery which was 96% full capacity, so we don't think it's related to the car battery.
Anyone else have input on the push ignition switchs? Are these switches temperamental from time to time? I was thinking of replacing the key fob battery as one more point of elimination?.
Please any suggestions or input are truly welcomed.
Thank you

I'd think your car is still under warranty, so you may want to take it to the dealership.
I don't know if there is some kind of indicator on the dash if your push button starter is not seeing the key. That information may be in the owner's manual. I'm also not sure if there is an emergency way to start the vehicle if the push start button fails.
