So I went and got gas. The car started fine. As I pulled out the car stalled and all the indicator lights came on. The car would not start. It was trying to turn over but nothing. I waited 5 minutes and it started. I drove home fine. First time this has happened, but I have noticed my RPM at an idle is low. Slightly below 1. Is this too low of an idle also?

When you turn the key to start the car, does the starter spin the engine at the normal rate? Or is the car not firing up (when the engine is running and you release the key)?

It seems to just spin at the normal rate. Sounds totally normal as always its just didnt fired up and turn over. How about the low rpm at idle? I am just concerned this will start happening more if it happened once. THanks for any input!

Since you just filled up, you may have gotten bad gas. I have seen it happen on here before.

How many miles are on the spark plugs, distributor cap, distributor rotor, and air filter? Maintenance items can cause the car to run poorly.

Normal idle rpm's ~750 once engine is at normal temp.
