Problem with clutch
Hey guys, I'm brand new here.I have a 2003 Honda accord so heres the problem
One cold morning I turned the car and i just started driving without letting the car warm up one bit as i was late for school.
Anyway, I pushed the clutch all the way down and tried to go into first gear, but it wouldnt go..Just stayed in neutral, So i cant drive it. i pushed it on the side walk and kept it there,. the following evening after class i try to get it to work. but when i hit the clutch down but there was no pressure, just went down and poped right back up...
I checked the brake fluid and i dont get it.. theres 2.. One with a big cap and one with a small one, one is full and the other is empty.
Please help

You'll have to have your clutch fluid re-filled and 'bled' to get rid of the air bubbles. If it recurs then you'll have some minor repair to do. no biggee.
There are 3 fluid reservoirs under the hood: brake, clutch, power steering (last does not take brake fluid!).
so have a friend tow you to a tire shop, Sears auto center or the Honda dealer. Probably $75 - 100.
Or call a car guy you know.

If clutch fluiid (brake fluid) is low or absent, you have a leak in clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, or both. Repairs are necessary for your problem, not replacing missing fluid.
good luck
good luck
or look up the clutch bleeding procedure specific to your model (service manual) and have a friend help you, then fill reservoir bleed clutch and then look for any where thats leaking (the fluid went somewhere), find a leak and repair.
- The one eyed mechanic says "the fluids low", The two eyed mechanic says "Why is the fluid low"-
