Hello ,I'm trying to convert my car and put a bed between the back seat and trunk.i came across these Brackets behind the back the back seat.Is it ok to remove them without interference with the cars structural integrity? I'd like to have more room for the bed frame. Please see the pictures provided and help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

 

That is a tough call on what to do. It definitely supports the upper part of the rear seats.

They are removable. Maybe you can switch the left to right to create more room and keep the (if any) structural support?

 

How did this turn out for you? The same thing crossed my mind when I first bought my car a year ago
