Questions about the F4
So, I've got a 1986 Honda Accord Lxi, and it's got some issues starting because of the torque converter. So I'm trying to get it fixed right, do my research and buy a TC. Wait a few months for the shop I know to have a open spot, then we start taking it apart and Low and behold the TC doesn't fit. From what I was able to gather the torque converter is the HO7 (Maybe?), and thats the one I got. But it doesn't fit and the only other one I've seen it might be is maybe the HO61. If anyone knows if it's the HO61 or whatever one it is, please let me know. The sooner I can get this put back together the better. Beyond bummed about this though.
Kindest Regards,

You may want to find the OEM part number for your specific vehicle on a site like hondapartsnow.com, then hopefully cross-reference to the proper part. You may also want to verify the transmission that is currently installed on your car, because it could have been swapped on your car from a different model in the past.
Well, I reordered the part because why not. It's the right one. They just sent a bad one the first time. The ring the teeth were on was a half inch longer than it should've. Not sure how to feel about this emotionally or financially. But, I at least now have the right right part.
