Default Quick question. HELP...

Hello HAF.

Quick question and hoping to get a quick response.

Are the hoods on all 5th gen accords 4cyl Identical? I am planning to buy a nose mask for my 96 accors but its from a 94-95 accord. Will it fit?

Thank you

I don't know the answer, but you can check carpart dot com. (I think that's the site) It actually searches junkyards for compatible parts, but I think it'll tell you the range of years for your parts.

Just curious, as I saw your other thread before:

https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...ra-mask-49832/

Are you looking for the full mask/bra or the half mask/bra? Honda did sell the half mask before that only covers part of the hood and edges of the fender; but, not the bumper.

yes sir, i am looking for either full mask or just the one that covers the hood and fenders partially. i was looking around at marketplaces and found one but it is from a 94 accord. i wasnt sure that it will fit so i asked first.

i asked several honda dealerships but to no avail, they always tell me "im sorry but the model of the car is old"

luckily i found one for under $20 on Cl.

Glad you found one.

I actually bought the Honda half mask new from when I had my 95 Accord. Rarely used it and still in box. I gave the car, mask, and most everything with it to my nephew. He never used the mask, as the paint on the hood is not so great now.

I thought about contacting you about it before; but, I felt it might be too time consuming for me. You're actually probably around 30 minutes away from me, with no traffic. But, again, I was and still am reluctant to go through such a process. -- Just was thinking about it.

Let me think about it a little. I probably used it less than 5 times and only like a day or so each time. I bought that around the same time when I bought that Accord new. It's at my sister's house right now; but, the last time I saw it, they still had it in the box.
