Default Radiator question. Help quick please i need to go somhere

o basically i have an
95 honda acccord lx

ok lateley my car has been using alot of water, like every 2 days ive been filing the thing with it. However it has also been very hot.

TOday after work on my way home i noticed that the heat was on (MAX) like over the red line. SO i instantly pulled over and opened it. After waiting a while i drove like 1 m ile.. which wasnt smart. It got red hott again.

I left my car, came back 2 hrs later and put like 5 galons or something of water into it. I saw two small leaks probably the width of a mouse wire or less.
THis meant that even if i kept putting water in, you would see it go down ..slowwlyyy..

SO my questions is this:

If i bring a whole bunch of water with me, and every 30 mins or so fill it up again is this safe to drive?
Or doing this is very stupid? My grandpa seems to say that as long as i keep adding water itl be fine.

However How much is too low? at what level does it get dangerous? Is it just when it begins to get hotter
how long do you guys think i should go between filling water again.

id reallly apreciate some input cuz i gota go somewhere soon. Like an hr drive.

Same thing happend to my Accord. You will be fine if you keep it full just dont let it get to hot! You can find a radiator at the junk yard really cheap or a new one for $125.

Don't let it get that hot. If you want to keep topping it off, fine, but if it gets in the red, you're risking it big time.

You say you found the leak, right? I'm going to have to recommend fixing it, since it's only going to get worse.

also if i were to actually buy a new one, do you guys think it would be hard to put it in yourself?

my main concern is putting the hoses all back on,..cuz they are really firm, and i hope i can just get them to fit back on just as well.

Buy a new one, man. No point in trying to patch one up. You can check out that desert referenced link for a step by step.
