Default re-manufactured steering rack question

Had someone install a re-manufactured steering rack on my 96 accord. Now it's leaking out the boots within a week. I don't know a thing about them ,but i do know they're not suppose to leak. First it was the pass. side with just a slow drop..then there was no spots on the ground( i checked at every stop) for 2 weeks but it was going somewhere as i had to add once a week when it hit the marked low level. today i brought it to high level and on start-up it started gushing out the drivers side boot. Any ideas. Also ,what are those twisted wires coming out of both boot ends. I've looked at pics of racks online and i see none. Just wondering if someone forgot to do something.

Description suggests defective or improperly installed end seals. Boots should not have wires coming out from under boots. This could be something that installation garage left since they have to install the new boots.

Clearly you were sold a defective part. You have justification to request a replacement part be installed by installer.

good luck
