Default Rear Light

I hate to post these kinds of things, but I need to get this taken care of fairly quickly before I get pulled over.

2002 Sedan, My right tail light (the one that lights up when you brake, not the middle one) is out. I checked it, and the bulb filament is fine but the holder (or socket?) that it pops into is cracked around the sides, with pieces missing.

Can the socket being cracked and broken affect the light, or do you think it's the wiring? The bulb is allowed to wiggle with this holder being broken.

Additionally, where can I find this specific socket to replace it?

Thanks for the help,

- Mike
