You want to check the solenoid when it's energized vs de=energized. It's just a valve, open & closed. You can use (low pressure) compressed air, or some rubber hose & blow through it.

I don't remember if its open or closed when de-energized, but at least when you energize it, the valve should change.

Default 95 accord DIY front and rear motor mounts

Car shakes at idle and goes away at higher rpm. I think it's the motor mounts cause it runs great otherwise. Any advice in replacing those?

Thanks!

The rear is a bit of a PIA. The front is no problem.

I would confirm the mount(s) are bad.

So when blow air into it, if there is no change in the idle the mount or the valve is bad? The service manual says 2hrs labor, so 150 plus parts is standard for fixing it?Thanks for your help.

blowing air shouldn’t do anything. you need to be able to suck air from the mount

Sorry, is the mount busted or is there a question about its function?

Either way, at idle (~750 rpms) there should be vacuum to the mount - I think the line to the mount it the upper, the lower should be from the intake manufold
