Default Rough shifting in 3rd gear

I have a 1993 Accord 2.2 automatic.
I've been experiencing rough shifting in 3rd gear. It feels like a clunk. It happens when the car shifts into 3rd from accelerating and when the engine downshifts into 3rd gear.
I was reading on the forum about the TCU. Would a faulty TCU cause the rough shift?
I recently had all the engine and tranny mounts replaced, although they are aftermarket, not OEM.
I also had the tranny oil drained and replaced with a high detergent oil.
After driving a few hundred miles,
I replaced with Castrol Transmsax oil.
Any thoughts on what may be causing this?
Thanks!

Is D4 or Sport Light flashing? If yes, extract the code and post for additional help. See DIY forum for guidance on extracting code.

I have heard that Castrol Transmax works well in Hondas, but most on this forum agree that Honda ATF works best for honda AT's. Suggest starting w/ 3 drain/refills w/ Honda ATF. This will eliminate most of Transmax.

Adjusting the throttle cable to AT (too tight) can change the shift quality. You should download a 90-93 Accord shop manual if you don't have one to guide this work. See DIY forum, Online Manuals post for a download.

good luck

D4 and sport light are not flashing.
My transmission mechanic is the one that recommended Transmax.
That's what he put in after he drained the tranny detergent.
I will check the throttle cable and download the manual.
Thanks for the advice.
