If the rust is inside of the cup (piston), then it should be fine.

I would probably remove the caliper pins. Clean up the grease, and use some silicone paste on them. That will help them to slide back and forth properly.

Cool thanks. And when I do decide to change the calipers how difficult is it on these cars?

The front calipers are easier than the rear. The front involves removing one more bolt to disconnect the brake hose from the caliper.

The rear isn't too bad. You just have to remove the e-brake cable from the caliper as well.

I would only replace the calipers if they fail.

Calipers are no problem......rotors on this gen, well they are a PIA. If you are going to have this for a while I would look into the ROH conversion.

Wow. Im Dumb. Let me reask this whole question... I'm actually asking if it's ok if the rotors have rust inside of them. Can't believe I dot the 2 mixed up =/

Its pretty standard for rotors to rust where the pads don't rub.

The rotors are hard to remove because Honda decided to do hub over rotor, so you have to remove the hub to take the rotor off which is a pain.

Thanks!!!
